Denice Hartman
Deniece has been a hair stylist for thirty years. She received her hair training at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA. She's been working at Old Town Hair Designers for a total of twenty-one years, and has owned the salon for five years. Deniece was born and raised in Tacoma, WA. She married her high school sweetheart, and has three sons, one grandson, and two chocolate labs. She enjoys the sunshine, baseball, gardening, reading, walking, and cooking.
Derek Hartman
Derek has been a hair stylist for four and a half years, all of which have been at Old Town Hair Designers. He received his hair training at Clover Park Technical College in Lakewood, WA. Derek is one of Deniece's three sons, and like his parents, he also married his high school sweetheart. He has one son who will turn two in October. He enjoys traveling, jogging, softball, and throwing dinner parties.
Janet James
Janet has been a hair stylist for thirty-three years, and there's nothing that she'd rather be doing. She received her training in women's hair in Tacoma, and men's hair in San Francisco with Gary Gerard. She's worked at Old Town Hair Designers for nineteen years. Janet has lived in Gig Harbor for thirty years. She enjoys sailing, gardening, traveling, cooking, and spending time with her eight grandkids.
Samantha Awad
Samantha has been a hair stylist for seven years, and has worked at Old Town Hair Designers for three years. She received her hair training at the Gene Juarez advanced training salon in Seattle, WA. Samantha lived in Indiana before moving to Tacoma nine years ago. She has two little boys, one at 10 years old, and one at five weeks old. She enjoys reading, walking, road trips, and spending time with her family.
Terry Tatsuyoshi-Beck
Terry has been a hair stylist for twenty-two years. She's the newest stylist at Old Town Hair Designers, and has been working there since March 2008. She received her hair training at Mr. Lee's in Auburn, WA. She enjoys doing colors and working with kids. Terry grew up in Hawaii, and lived in Federal Way for twenty years before moving to Tacoma's north end. She loves flowers and spending time with her husband and their two and a half year old son.
